In 2002, BLITZ joined forces with what may be considered the largest and most well-known technology company in the world: Microsoft. Out of the gate, MS challenged us to create the on-line extension of their “Your Potential. Our Passion” brand campaign that would reposition their company as industry innovators and thought leaders—not a bad way to start if you ask us.
Since that first project, we’ve gone on to collaborate with more than a dozen different marketing groups within the Microsoft corporation, including MS Office, MSN Money and Engineering Excellence, to name a few. And the work? Quite the spectrum. We’ve created demos for MS Office, rich media units for IE7, a co-branded entertainment experience for the hit show, Rockstar, and prototypes for their Executive Briefing Center.
The strong relationship has also allowed our developers to dive into Microsoft’s rich media platform, Silverlight, with extreme zeal. So much in fact, that BLITZ was among the first groups to be selected for the Microsoft Silverlight Artists Residency Program in 2006 and the Microsoft Mercury Program in 2008.
